What Does the Bean Dinner & Silent Auction Help Pay For?
Your support makes a difference! The funds raised through fire subscriptions, donations, the Bean Dinner, and the Silent Auction help support the day-to-day operations of our fire department and provide the equipment and maintenance needed to keep our firefighters ready to serve our community.
Some of the costs associated with the department include:
- 🧑🚒 Bunker Gear: Approximately $6,000 per firefighter
- 🫁 SCBA (Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus): Approximately $12,000 per firefighter
- 🔥 Wildland Gear: Approximately $4,000 per firefighter
- 📚 Fire and Medical Training
- 🚒 Truck Maintenance
- 💧 Pump Maintenance
- 🏢 Building Maintenance
- ⚙️ Other day-to-day operational expenses
